Annual Grants
Our Annual Grants objective is to distribute approximately $200,000 among four to six projects that best demonstrate the potential to reduce homelessness and increase access to safe and affordable housing for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Surrey.
Responsive Grants
Responsive grants are special grants that can be made by the board outside of the regular granting cycle. In general, these are only awarded in an emergency, such as where the health and safety of Surrey Residents is in jeopardy, there is a compelling opportunity that may be missed, or there is a significant opportunity to leverage other monies, and these opportunities were not known in time for the regular annual granting cycle.
